Background
A s a twelve year old boy, Chris accepted God’s free gift of
salvation. From that moment to the present, He has sought a
personal walk with the Lord.
In 1995, while working in the business world and teaching adult Sunday School, Chris responded to God’s call to invest his life in full-time ministry. Over the last 10 years, God has blessed Chris with many leadership, administrative, speaking/training, and preaching opportunities.
Chris is married to Jackie Barfield and has two children, Caleb (15 years old - 9th grade) their son and Jordan (12 years old - 6th grade) their daughter.

Education
Chris has a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas, 1999. and a Bachelor of Arts in Business form Baylor University, Waco, Texas, 1986.
In 1999 Chris was ordained to the Gospel ministry by Travis Avenue Baptist Church, Fort Worth, Texas.
