Background
Keith began his ministry opportunities leading music and worship at Fourth Ave. Baptist Church in Port Arthur, Texas in 1976. Then after moving to Fort Worth ,Texas in 1980 hewas called to Wilshire Terrace Baptist Church in Euless, Texas .After completing seminary in 1983 Keith began his full time ministry at Calvary Baptist Church in Nacogdoches, Texas serving as Minister of Music and Youth. Then in 1988 God opened the door for Keith to go to Bethany Place Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia to serve as Minister of Musicfor the next five years. Richmond holds many great memories. Besides being a beautiful place to live, it was also a great place to begin a family (Michael 1988), and begin many wonderful friendships. Then in 1994 Keith was call back to the great state of Texas to serve at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas until coming to First Baptist, Denton in 1996.

Priorities
Keith’s top priorities are God, his family, and serving in the church.
His wife Kim is also involved in the FBCD music ministry and teaches at Lake Dallas ISD.Keith and Kim have two wonderful children. Michael is 21,and is a junior at Dallas Baptist University pursuing a degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in strength and fitness training. He enjoys all sports, especially football, and has a passion for the Lord and working out. Katie is 16 years old and is a student at Liberty Christian School where she enjoys participating in Freedom Song Choir. Katie has a passion for the Lord, enjoys playing tennis and loves animals. Other family members include Chrystal a blue healer/corgi and white cat named Lucky.

Hobbies
In addition to his family and ministry Keith enjoys writing songs, playing the piano, football, basketball and golf.
