Background
Terra and I have been married for nearly 6 years and we have two boys: Hudson (3) and Jack (1). Terra and I have a blast chasing our boys around and being that we have young children, that’s pretty much all we do. I grew up right here in Denton, TX at FBCD. I was involved in the youth ministry here then served as youth pastor at First Baptist Church Era, TX. I returned to FBCD to work as a college ministry intern, and then went to be the youth pastor at First Baptist Church Anna, TX. However, God called me back home to serve as youth pastor here at FBCD. My passion is to move students and their families into authentic relationships with God and others.

Education
I received my gold star from McNair Elementary School in 1992 (Go Astronauts!!), became a Calhoun Cougar for two wonderful years, and graduated from Billy Ryan High School in 1999. I received my bachelors degree in elementary education from the University of North Texas in 2005 (yes it took me six years), and I am currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Hobbies
I love hanging out with Terra and the boys, playing basketball, reading, going to the movies and watching the Mavs, and Da Boys.
