We are an International/Cross-Cultural ministry that exists to share the message of the Lord Jesus with people from distant lands who currently reside in the Denton area. Our volunteer staff consists of individuals who have been called to serve in missions both domestically and internationally.

God has given First Baptist Church a unique opportunity to serve the world in Denton through an International ministry, which involves students from both The University of North Texas and Texas Women’s University.

The International ministry is completely outreached based. In the beginning, students come only because of their newly found relationships with us or by some other attending student. They do not understand how our church system functions and seem to possess no desire to participate unless they visit with someone they know. It is difficult to combine them with other ministries because of differences in culture and language, and almost all who attend require transportation to and from any activity. It is through these issues that trust is developed as they watch, listen, and learn about the Lord Jesus—the only way to the one, true, and living God.
