Purpose
The purpose of First Baptist Church Child Development Center is to provide a nurturing environment to help develop each child to his/her greatest potential – spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally, and socially. Developmental and learning experiences take place in a safe, loving atmosphere and are consistent with child development guidelines appropriate for each age level.

Highlights
The Center offers childcare from 18 months through kindergarten. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Our programs include an all day private Kindergarten and half day 3 & 4 year old Pre-K classes.

The Center uses the phonetically based ABEKA developmental curriculum beginning in our two-year old classes and continuing through Kindergarten. The learning classes each child participates in are: Music and Sign Language, Computer, and Library time. The three-year olds through Kindergarten attend a Spanish and Science class each week in addition to Chapel with Bible verse memorization.

A cap & gown graduation is held for the Kindergarten class during our Spring Program, including performances from all age groups. Our center is state-licensed and proud to offer a very low teacher-to-pupil ratio. All of our teachers are CPR & First Aid Certified.
