About The Child Development Center

First Baptist Church Child Development exists to provide a nurturing, Christian environment to help develop each child to their greatest potential-spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally, and socially. Development and learning experiences take place in a safe, loving environment consistent with appropriate child development guidelines for each age level.

The Child Development Center offers three different types of programs, All-Day Care,  Half-Day Pre-K, and Kindergarten.

All-Day Care             7:00am-5:30pm         Monday-Friday

Half-Day Pre-K          8:30am-11:30am      M/W/F for 3's and Monday-Friday for 4's

Kindergarten             8:30am-2:30pm        Monday-Friday

Our Christian teaching staff is dedicated to making the Child Development Center program a positive learning experience. From age two through Kindergarten we use A Beka curriculum, which is an accelerated Christian curriculum. Other enrichment programs the Child Development Center offers are:
