The mission of our Sonlight Homeschool Enrichment program is to partner with parents in reaching their educational goals while providing a Biblically-based education in a Christian environment. Throughout the year, the students will be provided with opportunities to participate in musical performances, classroom parties and fieldtrips.  Our teachers utilize a variety of curricula to attain a stimulating and fun environment in their classrooms. Classes are held on Mondays and Fridays from 8:30-2:30.

Elementary Courses

Kindergarten - Second grade: Music, Art, P.E., Spanish, Character/Bible, Social Studies and Science

Third - Fourth grade: Music, Art, P.E., Spanish, History and Science

Fifth grade: Music, Art, P.E., Writing, United States Geography and Science

Middle School and High School Courses

Sixth grade: Literature/Composition, Study Skills, Botany, Theater Arts, Art, Lego Robotics, "Do It Yourself" Life Skills, and Physical Fitness and Conditioning

Seventh grade: Literature/Composition, World Geography, General Science, Speech and Debate, Theater Arts, Art, Physcal Fitness and Conditioning, "Do It Yourself" Life Skills, Computer

Eighth grade: Literature/Composition, World Geography, Physical Science, Speech and Debate, Theater Arts,  Art, Physical Fitness and Conditioning, "Do It Yourself" Life Skills, Computer

Ninth through Twelfth grades: Literature/Composition, World HIstory, Biology, Speech and Debate, Theater Arts, Sign Language I, Spanish II, French II, Art, "Do It Yourself" Life Skills, Computer 

*Band is offered from 2:45-3:45 for students in fifth - twelfth grade.

Tuition

Kindergarten-4th one day per week: $80.00 per month

Kindergarten-5th two days per week: $100.00 per month (Two days per week attendance required for students in the fifth-twelfth grades)

6th-12th full day: $120.00 per month

6th-12th 1 to 2 classes: $80.00 per month

6th-12th 3 classes: $100.00 per month

6th-12th 4 or more classes: $120.00 per month

Band students: $40.00 per month

Fees

Note: all fees are non-refundable

Enrollment fee of $50.00 per child

Semester supply fee of $40.00 per child (collected in September and January)

Course fees per year (5th-12th grade only): Art $10.00, Drama $20.00 and Lego Robotics $30.00

Band supply fee of $25.00 per year (band students only)

Registration

Registration for the 2012-2013 school year begins February 24, 2012. At the time of enrollment, there is a non-refundable fee of $50.00.  We do have limited class sizes. Once classes are full, we would be glad to place you on our waiting list.
