The name of our Special Needs Ministry has changed! We are now GPS. GPS is our ministry to the developmentally disabled, their families, and their caregivers. We claim the fact there "are no disabled souls." Our main activity is our worship service which includes lots of music, where everyone gets an instrument to play, followed by a brief devotional message. Especially important is that it is a shush-free environment. Our services usually last about 45 minutes followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments. We also offer a Sunday morning Life Group, mainstreaming when appropriate, and a buddy system if preferred. These require planning so please call ahead so that we will be prepared.
Upcoming Worship Services
Our next GPS worship service will be May 4, at 3 pm, in the Fellowship Hall. Plan now to attend and bring a friend. Let's keep the celebration going next month!
The Worship Services for 2013
• May 4 • June 1
Be sure to frequently check this webpage for other activities. We usually plan a quarterly event outside of the worship service. More info will follow.
Sunday Mornings:
We have a Life Group that meets in romm S-109 at 9:30am each Sunday. We are also available to assist those who would like to be mainstreamed in the appropriate life group. Just give me a call in advance so we can be prepared.
