Our purpose is to help women...

Bible Study

Weekly bible studies are offered through out the whole year. Our studies are offered three days a week; Sunday evenings, Tuesday mornings, and Wednesday evenings. Free Childcare is provided for most studies by reservation. Spring studies start January 8.

Spring Retreat

We offer an annual weekend getaway each spring for women to rest and refuel while they connect with Christ as well as new and old friends. The 2012 Retreat is April 20 and 21 at Tanglewood Resort and Conference Center.

Heartstrings

This is a group designed for connection.  If you looking for a friend to help you on your journey with Christ, or you look to help another woman on her journey with Christ, this group is for you. Gatherings happen every other month.

Lunch Bunch

Join the ladies of First Baptist Church Denton with a friend from your work, neighborhood, bible studies, and/or just those sweet girlfriends who need to go to lunch together. This is a time set aside for fun, fellowship & food! Don’t miss the exciting speakers/programs, heartwarming devotionals and sweet spirit of fellowship for the women of Denton.  

Spirited Scrappers

This is scrap booking with a purpose: leaving a legacy for those who come after us! Spirited Scrappers is more than just a “crop” club, it's a ministry to our families and our community.  In years past we've made pages for foster parents to create “Life Books’ for their foster children, we've made “Cards for Heroes” which were distributed to soldiers in the battlefield area to have handmade cards to send to their family members, and we've collected toys and money for Elves Shelves as well as  food for our Food Pantry. Join us as we leave a legacy for our families and community.

MOPS

Are you a mom of preschoolers, and looking to connect with other moms in the same season of life?  MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) is the place for you.  With a focus on fellowship and encouragement, MOPS is a friendly environment to ask and answer the questions moms have. Join us in the fellowship hall every 1^st and 3^rd Thursday from 9:00 until 11:30am for brunch, a devotional, guest speakers, crafts and uninterrupted conversation. We have a chair waiting for you!
