Illumination Station VBS 2026 - SHINING A LIGHT ON WHO JESUS REALLY IS!
"Again, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” - John 8:12

This summer, VBS at First Denton, Illumination Station, invites kids to explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals that Jesus is the LIGHT of the world. Through engaging activities, Bible lessons, and fun rotations, kids will discover that:

✅ Jesus is God’s promised Son.
✅ Jesus is God’s perfect Son.
✅ Jesus is the powerful Son of God.
✅ Jesus is the proven Son of God.
✅ Jesus is God’s plan for forgiveness.

June 5 | 7:30 pm - 9:30pm -| VBS Family Night @ Denton Water Works

Ages

Completed Kindergarten – Completed 5th Grade
VBS Jr. (infant through entering kindergarten) is exclusively available for volunteers’ children.

This is a FREE event!

Each child will receive

A daily snack
A VBS t-shirt (guaranteed for those who register & attend)

Daily Schedule

Each day of VBS 2026 is packed with exciting activities!

Morning Routine

Day 1 (Monday): Parents & children check in at 8:30 AM right inside the hub entrance, then parents will escort their children to their assigned classrooms.
Days 2-4 (Tuesday-Thursday): Parents check in at the kiosk and then escort their child to their assigned classrooms at 8:45 AM

‍Pick-Up

‍12:00 PM each day in their assigned classroom.

Daily Bible Stories

Each day, kids will dive into God’s Word and explore powerful truths about His love and faithfulness!

These stories will come to life through interactive lessons, discussions, and activities designed to help kids apply biblical truths to their everyday lives.

Small Group Rotations

During Small Group Rotations, kids will explore a variety of engaging activities designed to enhance their learning experience.

📖 Bible Study – Deep dive into the day’s Bible story
🔬 S.T.E.M. – Fun hands-on Mission Focused science & exploration activities
🎶 Music – Energetic worship & song learning
🏃 Sports & Recreation – Fun games & movement-based activities
🎨 Crafts – Creative projects inspired by daily themes

These rotations keep kids engaged while reinforcing the day’s biblical message in an exciting and interactive way!

Family Night

📅 June 5 | 7:30 - 9:30 PM

🎉 Get Ready to make a splash as we wrap up an amazing week of VBS with a FREE Family Water Night at Denton Water Works on June 5th!

Bring the whole family and join us for an evening full of laughter, water slides, and fun! Whether you're racing down the slides, floating the lazy river, or cheering on your kiddos from the splash zone - this is the perfect way to celebrate all God has done during VBS week.

Who: The whole family - everyone is welcome! Please make sure you complete the registration form to confirm your family's spot.
