When I was in high school, I remember throwing out my back one day because I overloaded my backpack with textbooks. Instead of emptying it between classes, I carried all of my books the entire day.
One of the messages I try to communicate to our graduating seniors is that just because they graduate from high school, they should not graduate from their faith.
One of our middle school students came up to me last week before youth group and asked to meet in my office. He said he needed help writing a devotional for him and a few of his friends because they weren’t going to be able to be at church that upcoming Sunday due to a school competition.
This past Sunday, Dr. Jeff continued our “Changed People, Changing Lives” series by sharing about meaningful community, the 4th core value of our church. God created us to have relationships. We need each other. I need you and you need me! How cool is that?
